ANGOTTI

Consulting
practice limited to physicians and medical groups. Consulting involves
practice structure changes (adding new physicians, partial retirement,
mergers & sales), practice operations, finance, and practice start-ups.
Problem-solving involves operations analysis, and the development of recommendations
and an implementation plan. Engagements are on an hourly, project, or
retainer basis.
Strategic
planning involves assisting physicians to establish practice goals that
are in concert with their personal goals and developing plans to reach
those goals. The process includes determining the most appropriate enterprise
structure for the practice, and developing appropriate affiliations with
such organizations as Independent Physician Associations, Management Service
Organizations, Physician Practice Management companies, Physician/Hospital
organizations, and other forms of partnering, affiliations, and equity
relationships.
Operational
planning and development include clinical operations, financial operations,
patient flow, insurance, and patient billing and collections; marketing,
relations with referring practitioners, hospitals, and insurance carriers;
financial analysis, personnel administration, (policies, procedures, and
benefit plans).
Specific
work in managed care includes development of strategic and operational
plans for practices, negotiation, administration, and analysis of managed
health care contracts. Also development of computer systems for the administration,
tracking and analysis of at-risk managed care contracts.

Performed organizational financial analysis and control. Exercised responsibility
for administrative systems development including computer use planning,
management of data bases, control of hardware and software acquisitions
and supervision of staff.
EXTERNAL:
Developed and delivered seminars - addressing automation, organization
and productivity - sponsored by colleges, universities, business associations
, and private industry. Consulted with clients on automation, productivity,
and organizational needs.
MAJOR
ACCOMPLISHMENT: BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Reorganized
the entire structure of the company and automated the office operations.

EASTMAN
KODAK COMPANY * * * 1967 to

MANAGER,
MECHANIZATION ENGINEERING
Responsible
for development, design and project management of all mechanization and
automation equipment for the production of Kodak products and Defense
Department production contracts. The 220 major machines and systems costing
over $35 million and delivered in a two-year period included both internally
constructed and purchased equipment.
MAJOR
ACCOMPLISHMENT: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Organized
and managed the automation for Kodak's DISC camera project from conception
through implementation, including project planning, hiring (50 additional
engineers), machine design, construction and delivery. Developed methods,
techniques, and procedures for all project phases and trained all personnel
involved, including new engineers shop personnel, production supervisors,
machine operators, and maintenance technicians.
MAJOR
ACCOMPLISHMENT: PRODUCTIVITY
Reorganized
the tool making department's operating groups, staff and physical layout
to increase communication, work flow and productivity. Reduced sick time
by 72%, the need for overtime by 80%, and overhead expenses by 38%, while
increasing productive hours by 18%.
MAJOR
ACCOMPLISHMENT: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Provided
assembly equipment for a $64 million Defense Department contract for tank
control systems. Prepared the bid, planned the project, hired additional
engineers, scheduled work, and set up procedures for future government
projects. The project was completed within budget and on time. Negotiated
contract changes and government payments for 320 changes ranging from
$400 to $15,000 in value.
MAJOR
ACCOMPLISHMENT: SYSTEMS ARCHITECTURE
Developed
a system for incorporating assembly and test requirements into early product
design phase. Result: Improved quality control and reduced product assembly
cost. The system is now used for all major projects at Kodak.
